The collection consists of postcards created from the end of the 19th to the middle of the 20th century, that is from the period of their first appearance to the appearance of photographic postcards. In oher words the period of tourism beginnings when postcards were just postcards with a picture and address space in the background to modern postcards as used today. As an integral part of the tourist inventory, postcards are also valuable sources of origin and development and witnesses of continuous historical changes in the views of Croatian tourist centers.
