The traditional international art event “Mandrać – Mandracchio 2011″ consists of Little Mandrać, attended by children 5 to 15 years old, and Mandrać for adults where artists compete in two categories, professional and amateur.
The event will take place in the traditional space of the Volosko harbor, alleys and stairs leading to the harbor.
The jubilee 26th annual contest will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 30th and 31st of 2011. Little Mandrać will be held on Saturday and the contest for adults on Sunday. The prize award ceremony and the entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

From 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: registration of participants.
Children aged from 5 – 15 years of age may register.
Participants should obtain the canvases for their paintings at the Registration Point. Participants should bring their own painting equipment of choice. Finished paintings should be handed in to the Registration Point by 12 p.m.
2 p.m.: Awards Ceremony

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Registration Point. Registration of the competing artists and paintings
1 p.m. Artists competing for the prizes should display their paintings in the Volosko harbour area for evaluation by the International Jury.

Each participant may submit any number of paintings and all exhibited paintings are eligible for prizes. Artists are kindly requested not to cause damage to houses or walls when displaying their work. Artists that are in the running for the “Ex Tempore” prize and working on site can show their works on Sunday, July 31st at 1p.m.
