140 Years of Organized Tourism in Hvar

The exhibition was opened on the occasion of the International Museum Day 2009.
The history of tourism on Hvar, from its beginnings in 1868 until today, was shown on 12 hoardings.
Speakers at the opening included the director of the Museum of Hvar Heritage Nives Tomasović, the author of the exhibition Marinko Petrić and the director of the Croatian Museum of Tourism Mirjana Kos Nalis, as well as the deputy mayor of Opatija Opatije Lucijan Kos.
The exhibition was open from May 5th until May 22nd at the villa Angiolina and was subsequently moved to the Art Pavilion Juraj Šporer from June 3rd until June 25th.
