The exhibition contains various objects (prints, decorative plates, postcards, photographs, phone cards, promotional materials, books, record covers, calling cards and guides) with the camellia motif. Other exhibits included flowers and marzipan sweets in the shape of camellias.
At the opening, awards were given to the winners of the competition Search for the Most Beautiful Camellia of the Opatija Riviera. Speakers included Mirjana Kos Nalis, mayor of Opatija Amir Muzur and city councilman and president of the Camellia Lovers Association. The program was augmented by the songs of klapa “Kamelija” and a reading by author Ivanka Glogović Klarić.
