The exhibition Relax Before Your Vacation – Tourism in Caricatures by Oton Reisinger was open at the villa Angiolina from May 18th until July 1st of 2008. The exhibition was opened to mark the International Day of Museums – May 15th of 2008.
Some twenty original works that illustrate tourist anecdotes were shown in the lobby of the villa. The caricatures comment on the new societal mores and situations caused by the growth of tourism into an important segment of 20th century economy.
The author of this exhibition is Frano Dulibić, PhD. The visitors at the opening were addressed by Oton Reisinger himself, the author who has created more that 30 thousand caricatures in more than 60 years of successful work.
