Underwater Exhibition of Sculptures by Siniša Majkus

Underwater Exhibition of Sculptures by Siniša Majkus

The Croatian Museum of Tourism is preparing an unusual underwater exhibition of sculptures by Siniša Majkus, a renowned Croatian academic sculptor. The sculptures will be placed at a depth of 6 meters, on the sandy portion of the seabed between the Kvarner and Angiolina sea baths, some 30 meters away from shore. The underwater gallery will be marked with buoys and the sculptures will be illuminated by night.

The exhibition will be opened on July 27th of 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and ‘divers’ will be able to enjoy it until the end of August.

The underwater gallery of the Croatian Museum of Tourism will be open every year in July and August.
