Last night, we opened the exhibition “CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMPERIAL AND ROYAL STATE SOUTHERN RAILWAY” by Alexius Vogel at the Croatian Museum of Tourism!

This excellent exhibition, organized in celebration of World Tourism Day, highlights the importance of developing railway infrastructure in connecting cities and promoting tourism and industry. Discover more about the technology behind railway construction, the builders, and the breathtaking landscapes through which the tracks passed.

In addition to the historical routes from Vienna to Trieste, learn how the first railway in Croatia was built and how the Southern Railway Company also started building hotels, including our iconic Hotel Kvarner in Opatija!
