ALBUM PROMOTION OF “WANDERLUST” BY IVAN PEŠUT HELD

This event is a gift from the City of Opatija on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the construction of Villa Angiolina, which houses the Croatian Museum of Tourism. The construction of the Villa marked the beginning of organized tourism in Opatija and Croatia.

The promotion of the second studio album “Wanderlust” by one of the best and most awarded Croatian musicians, authors, producers, and live performers, Ivan Pešut, was held last night in Opatija on what Pešut himself mentioned as “the most beautiful stage.” In front of the Croatian Museum of Tourism in Opatija’s Villa Angiolina, and on the occasion of its 180th anniversary, Pešut, along with three excellent musicians, held a memorable concert.

This extraordinary concert, a gift from the City of Opatija to the people of Opatija and their visitors, attracted a large number of attendees who had the opportunity to indulge in the magic of Pešut’s Porin-awarded album “Wanderlust,” which contains nine compositions showcasing a wide range of musical expressions, ranging from guitar compositions, through jazz, to ambient music and film music.

Traveling through different musical genres and styles, Ivan Pešut on guitar, accompanied by Damjan Brnić on guitar, Vedran Ružić on bass, and Leonard Berisha on drums and percussion, provided the Opatija audience with a special experience. In addition to pieces from “Wanderlust,” the audience had the chance to hear hits from Pešut’s first album “Timeline,” which was also awarded a Porin, as well as new, previously unreleased compositions.

The uniqueness of this celebratory evening in Opatija was completed by the Ikarski barkajoli with a selection of top-quality Croatian wines aged for one year in the Ikar vruja. It was a fantastic synergy of excellent music, a unique ambiance, and great wine. An evening tailored to Opatija.
