Croatian Museum of Tourism joins the celebration of Opatija Day on July 25, 2024, with an interesting program.
In the anniversary year marking 180 years of tourism and the construction of Villa Angiolina, which houses our museum, we will bring history to life.
We invite you to join us for the costumed performance “Opatija’s Saga in the Whirlwind of History” at the Croatian Museum of Tourism, Park Angiolina 1.

Meet Angiolina Scarpa and Sofija Jelačić, and listen to intriguing stories, discover hidden secrets, and learn about the lives of these fascinating women and their spouses, who left an indelible mark on our region.

“Opatija’s Saga in the Whirlwind of History” will be performed for you by experienced storytellers Martina Findrik (Gornjogradske coprnice) and Manuela Tunjić (Many photo story, ConnceptM), who are behind many successful projects, creating innovative and creative concepts in tourism.
Through storytelling and storytelling photography, they give each project an authentic note, bringing destinations to life through unique and unforgettable experiences.
The character of Angiolina Sartorio Scarpa will be portrayed by Martina Findrik, and Sofija Stockau Jelačić by Ana Zbiljski.
