On Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, at 6:00 PM, the Croatian Museum of Tourism in Villa Angiolina will host a promotion of a commemorative postmark and postcard dedicated to Branko Bevanda, in celebration of 100 years of organized motorcycling in Croatia.

Our fellow citizen Branko Bevanda was a 14-time champion of Croatia and Slovenia and an 8-time champion of Yugoslavia. He retired from his professional career in 1978, the same year he officially opened the Grobnik Automotodrom.

The event is organized by the Association “Auto and Moto Bo&Sc 1906&1924” from Jastrebarsko, which initiated the project “Four Kvarner Motorcycle Aces” (Nikola Mika Šnjarić from Crikvenica, Marijan Kosić from Krk, Branko Bevanda from Opatija, and Zdravko Matulja from Matulji).
