Lecture “Travel, Dance, and Catch the Rhythm” Held at the Croatian Museum of Tourism

Thank you for traveling, dancing, and catching the rhythm with us!

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the Croatian Museum of Tourism hosted a themed lecture titled “Travel, Dance, and Catch the Rhythm”, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Romana Lekić, an anthropologist in tourism and a member of the Scientific Council for Tourism and Space at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU).

The event brought together numerous enthusiasts of culture, dance, and the rhythms of life. Through an inspiring story about dance as a universal language of the body, soul, and community, the lecture also explored deeper connections between music, tourism, and identity—with a special emphasis on Opatija’s important place in the history of dance.

We thank everyone who joined us and helped create an evening full of movement, ideas, and shared energy.

This is just the beginning—we look forward to continuing this kind of collaboration and to many more inspiring encounters.
