📜 The Minister of Culture and Media, Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Ph.D., has appointed Nataša Ivančević, Ph.D., as the Director of the Croatian Museum of Tourism, effective from April 1, 2025, for a term of four years.
🎓 Natasa Ivancevic graduated in Art History and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where she also obtained her Ph.D. She worked as a museum advisor and head of the Collections Department and the Sculpture Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU) in Zagreb, where she was also the assistant director for over twelve years. She has participated in numerous significant exhibition projects and has also worked at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka.
🏆 The Croatian Museum Association awarded her the prize for the best exhibition in Croatia for the retrospectives of Vojin Bakić and Ivana Popović, and the Croatian Society of Art Historians for the retrospective of Ratko Petrić.
📜 Minister Obuljen Koržinek has also dismissed the acting director Vesna Leiner, who has led the Croatian Museum of Tourism for the past year.
