Tourist posters and advertising messages are an integral part of the holdings of the Croatian Museum of Tourism. Although this collection contains only a few dozen items, they are interesting in the context of the development of advertising, but also as an indicator of the state’s attitude towards tourism. They display the encouragement of various forms of tourism and tourist destinations in certain periods of time, and finally they are historical documents regarding the development of various organizations engaged in tourism.
